I thought that there were some 6" versions that were for sale on emce site. These did'nt look like remegos to me more like unpainted action figures that you paint and design
    yourself.

I'm really, really curious as to what these projects are. If they're using Doc's bandless bodies, they gotta be something pretty neat!

Aw geez! And here I was, hoping for some decent female Mego bodies that will take the melon heads that aren't strung too tight!

From what I have heard from Doc is that right now the Bodies both Male and Female are exclussively righted to a couple of Projects for a couple of years, so it may be another year before before we see them... Hoping sooner rather than later.

Oh, I didn't say I haven't tried the other options , I have a few type s and plenty of mego t2, doc mego swivel biceps, doc mego, and ftc bodies. I just would like to see docs new bandless as they sounded like a great choice, specially for female and teen characters. But yeah it's disappointing they haven't materialized.

Wow, you have been waiting a while now then ...

I 100% agree that the Doc Mego buff body is fantastic, and the EMCE bodies coming with Sea Ghost are very solid feeling and appear quite robust (except the stretching of the plastic at the top of the arms similar to the FTC bodies, see Sea Ghost arm photo attached).

But I am also quite fond of the Type-S band-less bodies. I feel like you are doing yourself a disservice by not trying all the options out there. My customs and re-bodied figures have a pleasant mix of all the great bodies available.

It really doesn't matter to me, because I think Doc's "buff Body" with swivel arm bicep are the BEST! They have more range of movement than any other Mego repro body.

    Still nothing?

I'd rather switch out to one of these than keep an FTC body.

Not to mention that even the vintage bodies are getting to be ridiculously expensive.

I'd rather not get into a bidding war for a figure that I can easily get for less than ten dollars, not to mention the CONDITION of some of these figures! Some of these haven't just been played with, they've been played with to death, dismemberment and decapitation!

Same here, especially the female bodies! Getting hard and expensive looking for Mattel female bodies to use.
