It's most likely either a Euro-specific mix or even just to Germany. I know Germany produces its own higher quality printing ink while the rest of us get Asian market.

I'm totally convinced. What a difference.
      It's just perfect now!
      Terrific work...

It is great, just no helpful info on how we can do it at this point.

Would be interesting to know what BBP think about this.

They're making figures for collectors, but if collectors don't like the bobble-head look and are resorting to acetone/acetone compounds to fix this, then why don't BBP make figures that are more in proportion?

Maybe they would sell more figures?

Yeah that's what I thought, too. Congrats on whoever it is that did the work, they did a terrific job. But past that, the response on how to do it felt more like an ad. Sending the heads to Germany isn't all that practical. Post a shot of the stuff they used, how long did they soak the heads, what are the details? That's what is helpful.

At this point, I think they would have done it if they felt it was a quality-control matter.

It easily is the main reason I haven't bought a BBP figure yet.

They seem to have fixed this with TBBT...

The questions asked of BBP and the oversize heads has been addressed by the co-owner so future products aren't affected. However, this shrink work-around would be great for those who have product in hand and want to fix it.

"Hi Everyone! I will be the first to officially admit that I don't like the size of Apollo's head either. As for standardizing the head size, believe me, this is going to be taken very seriously going forward. As for why this happened, I can blame it on our staff of 4 (including me), tight Comic-Con deadlines, running out of time, dealing with hundreds of products, etc., etc. - yes we have plenty of excuses as to why this didn't get caught before it shipped. But these excuses don't matter in the end. We put out a less than stellar product and for that I apologize to you. I hope you enjoy the majority of our products, and we really do care about what we are making. I strive for perfection, so this bothers me personally. We are already coming up with a revised internal process to remove any chance of this happening again. Acknowledge a problem if one exists and keep improving - that's what our goal is."

Just get us into the ballpark. We can do the rest.

If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

BBP is well aware of the problem. I'm absolutely sure that this will not happen in the next waves.
But this procedure would fix existing "Big Head" problems nicely.

Considering their track record of so many on scale figure lines, (Venture, TZ, Flash Gordon, Lost, Big Lebowski, Who) I personally don't get the animosity. All of their stuff looks over sized at toy fair, always has. Production figures shown this year clearly don't.
