    Six Million dollar man wishlist

    BBP has released to date:

Steve Austin with red jogging suit
Steve Austin with khaki outfit (with and without stash)
    Bigfoot
Rudy Wells (with collector tin and carded version)
    Fembot (coming in November)
    Oscar Goldman (coming in November)

I was looking at their Twilight Zone figure selection and it is quite vast, so I began to wonder what might we see from the
    SMDM in the future?

Do they have the rights to any character that appeared on the show, or do they have to obtain actor rights on a case by case basis? In any case, I thought it would be neat to start a wishlist for figures that could be made in 2013 or beyond.

Here are some of the figures I would enjoy seeing:

#1 By far would be Jaime Sommers (Bionic Woman)
#2 Would be Maskatron just like Kenner did back in the day.
    #3 Perhaps Max
#4 If we have a Fembot we must have Dr. Franklin
#5 Steve Austin in Astronaut outfit
#6 The Seven million dollar man

Great list! I think mine would be these and in this order:
    1) Jamie Sommers
    2) Oliver Spencer (the first Oscar Goldman-style character played by Darren McGavin)
    3) Maskatron - with interchangeable faces
    4) Seven Million Dollar Man
    5) Steve in orange pilot suit
    6) Steve in Astronaut suit

      For my wish list:

      Jaime
      Seven Million Dollar Man
      Steve in astronaut gear
Robot version of Maj. Fred Sloan

And as long as I'm wishing:

      Astronaut Josh Lang (Shatner!)
Venus Probe (collect and connect pieces with each figure)
      Shalon (Bigfoot's keeper)

I remember the ads in comic books but I never saw one in the stores.

Yea, Duke was cool, although a bit oversized even for 1/6 scale figures.

I think she was in at least 4 different episodes as 4 different characters

                    1. Astonaut

                    2. Nosey reporter who films Steve doing bionic stuff

                    3. Thief who steals a gold statue

                    4. Pilot who sees a Japanese Zero

The Death Probe is so popular both as a storyline and as a classic toy, I don't see where the downside would be in making one. I think anyone who was a fan of the show would have to have it. Stick a sound bite from show on it and ...oh boy. If BBP builds it, they will flock in masses.

BUT, would you want mark 1 or mark 2 ?

for me, even though 2 was a little cooler, I think mark 1 is the definitive Death Probe

I'd buy one but I wonder if the fan base is big enough to justify the tooling? It's not like DP is iconic as the Daleks.

Again, not crapping on it, I'd love to buy one but it's got to be a big challenge.

I think a good way to answer that question is to make a limited run of the vehicle. If you look at the design of the Death Probe it's not a high tech concept. From a manufacturing standpoint I would think two pieces would form the base, two pieces would form the top (which could swivel on the base when inserted), and two pieces to create the arm. A rubber flap around the bottom to cover wheels and you have the essence of the vehicle. I think the product would sell itself with a good sculpt out of those pieces. Include some decals with it and a sound chip to press on top and I think you've got something people would want. And you know how custom crazy this market is. Collectors who want the worn or burnt look on the vehicle could paint that themselves. I don't see a downside to a limited run because there would be more than enough fans (and auction scalpers) to buy them up. Of course the trick is keeping productions costs reasonable while still producing a cool looking product. To me a sound chip and detailed sculpts would bring that home. If making the toy would not be cost effective, then maybe making a model in scale with the figures would be the next alternative. It would expand BBP's product line while still catering to fans of the license.
