I have been inhaling classic and recent Doctor Who episodes on
Netflix instant viewing. This is a good time to get caught up on
the series without commercials or delays.

As for older doctors, companions, and aliens - it's hard to justify the cost of
tooling unique accessories (like the giant claw arm) for characters
that are less well known.

I'm confused, Doc, do you think that Sutekh and the 4th Doctor version of the Master are more well-known than older Doctors? I'd hate to think that, but I suppose you could be right.

Hartnell and Troughton have been hurt by the lack of episodes since the BBC was stupid and destroyed most of them in the 70s. The others have probably been hurt since the mid 90s when the BBC pulled the old series away from most of the PBS stations showing them in the states. BBC America should run them, but they haven't done that in about a decade.

Does Tom Baker still hold the record for longest serving Doctor? I think he went seven seasons, which helped make him iconic in the role. My wife, however, is chomping at the bit for a Tenth Doctor figure.
