Kyle's Coming 9/15

I got my Kyle. Moulded ring, but he has paint missing on his hair and a paint rub on his mask. (I think I'll just fix him) All and all, I love the Green Lantern figures. I only wish they had done John in his modern look!

I got my two today. Both with fists and molded ring, which I'm glad. Definitely the better look. Unfortunately one of them had some smulch on the white of his uniform. Not enough to send back, but another example of Mattel's sloppy quality control marring an otherwise nice figure. The other figure was pretty pristine. I kept it back for my son's b-day. That's right, I'm a good Daddy. But it's hard sometimes...

Did anyone else get a $5 off coupon for DCUC figures? Pretty nice bonus?

I received mine and it had the molded ring/fist.

Mine came in last night with the molded ring. To be honest, I only ordered one and let the kids open it to play with last night. Variant or not, I do not think Kyle will be a money maker in the future . Sad to see Mattel not give 100% regardless of the toy line they are selling. (I know that is a generalization as I am sure that there were probably folks over there that wanted this to succeed, but the folks that make sure the end product goes out there OK...I have to say, Meh). I love these figures, though, and wish the line was still going forward.

Wow, thank goodness this figure was delayed so the ring issue could be fixed. Seriously, who the hell is running the show over at Mattel?

I've been slammed with work and projects and have not been able to get to the Matty site until now. I was a bit concerned that the sold out sign might be there, tho I would have been happy to see it if they did sell that fast.

But, I had no troubles ordering a batch of Kyle. I think it took about 3 or 4 weeks for the first exclusive GA to sell out (both times). Maybe Kyle is on the same path.

I was hoping to see that, "almost gone," or "sold out" message on Matty Collector by now so I can know Kyle is selling well. And also, maybe Matty can announce more Reto Action to come...

Really...what is the big deal? This is coming from the same crowd who in 2 years will spend 5 times as much to get the rare variant....I think it is kinda cool! I just wish we see more RA's!

That painted on ring is **** poor. Mattel took the cheap way out when it came time to fix a factory error. I would be very upset if I got a painted on ring. If this is the last DC RAH, it sure went out with a wimper.
