Yes, I simply said that the painted hand was no where new as nice as the sculpted version, and the next email I got was the shipping statement about a new figure on the way. I was stunned actually, that they would send out another one to me, and not ask for the old in return. That's why I'm wondering if there will be a return request in the box.Leave a comment:

as of right now, my count in all the forums I've seen thus far is:
22 molded ring on fist
10 painted ring on open hand

Got my 4 yesterday........all molded hands.......one figure has a face defect so I requested a replacement......it's a really nice figure but I wish they wouldn't use the plastic snaps in back..way to bulky

When someone calls customer service, chances are they are already upset for some reason. To be met with someone who is only more upsetting, for any reason, adds insult to injury. You'd think a good company would want to prevent already annoyed customers from being even more annoyed, but I guess that's just not Mattel's style.I just got off the phone with Matty... As predicted, I got someone who barely UN_DER_STANDS_EN_GLISH...
Well it has to be 14 BUSINESS days before she can do anything about this shipment. Hmmmm. I think there is plenty she can do. For starters, she can work on her English translation skills. That would be a plus. I have little regard for companies that outsource their customer service divisions to people who have no skills to provide the task that is asked of them...Translation - CHEAP! 
Meanwhile, I've always had very good experiences with TRU's customer service, despite their horrible shipping methods where their items arrive banged up because they choose not to use any packing materials.Leave a comment:

I thought the CA was California.Mine has been in Ontario Canada since the 16th. Hasn't budged since. And it needs to get to Louisville! I might have to call them if I don't get anything soon. You know bad service will make me think twice about ordering in the future if they can't handle a simple request.Leave a comment:
