I just don't want to have to wait five years for them to get their acts together--for me--the minute they got rid of the Justice Society was the moment they got rid of me. I'm not even going back to writing reviews for Comic Bloc--I'm so mad at DC.
Give us Golden Age Mego!!! Hourman! Golden Age Green Lantern, Jay Garrick would absolutely rock!sigpic

^^^ it won't take 5 years for them to backpeddle. The line will tank a lot sooner than that.

            Re-branding not to blame

We knew months ago that the line was not doing as well as hoped,
but the plan was to move it to matty - at no point did anyone ever
mention the re-branding initiative. The first time I heard about it
            was just before SDCC.

I have little patience for anonymous guys who loudly proclaim
"facts" without any proof besides their own opinion. If you want
to hate the new DC look, be my guest. I think it's high time they
ditched the "underwear on the outside" look. It looked dumb in the
first place - IN MY OPINION.

Paper publishing is dying out - this re-branding is really about the
comics being delivered digitally. PERSONALLY, I prefer trade
            paperbacks.

She now knows the difference between Green Lantern and Green Hornet. I'm so proud.

So can buying Kyle make a difference or is this line as DEAD as Toyguru indicates? BTW did you have the same intel on RA Busters? Can fans make a difference to put it on Matty as an exclusive in your opinion?

btw, regarding the retro heroes: one of the reasons i ended up finding this site was because of how disgusted i was with toy r us and their lack of selections and space given to the retro heroes. I think i walked into my local one and saw luthor and sinestro for five months strait. I know most of us order toys and merchandise from sites but i still think nothing beats walking into a toy store and buying something that you just have to have... I wonder if this could have had at least a little effect on the retros sales (its just a thought to throw out there)

Because its horrible and demonstrates why Neal Adams should not write.

I agree with all you said, kind of sad to hear they were selling poorly. What are the chances these will move to Matty, is that still a possibility?

Kyle is the tipping point - according to Mattel's own people.

Well I'm glad they didn't say John Stewart was the tipping point. Because I will be buying Kyle.
