I just saw this set at my TRU lastnight. Great!

Saw this at TRU today, but I passed on it for now. This set is fantastic, and I can't wait to get it, but the packaging is really terribly designed where Janine's hair has all sorts of paint rubbed off of it and rubbed on the front plastic of the package. Finding a good, clean one might be tough, but I'm holding out until then! I just couldn't justify buying any of the 3 I saw.

If this is successful enough maybe next we'll get a Louis Tully/Boogeyman Two Pack! I just hope they keep making the villains...The Kenner line was silly enough outside of the 4 main RGB but they weren't faithful at all to any of the ghosts in the show. Till now the only one released (outside of Stay Puft, Slimer and maybe the VW bug that looked like Murray the Mantis) was the Extreme GB Sam Hain, and his head never stayed on!

THE RGB show is really one of the best cartoons ever..up to a point. It gets awful when Lorenzo Music stops voicing Venkman and then just unwatchable when Slimer takes over the show....but some of the earlier episodes seemed more geared for adults instead of kids like The Hole In The Wall Gang or the one with The Boogeyman where he comes through a kids closet door in the middle of the night and steals him from his bed. Great themes like Drew The Dog Faced Goblins and You Can't Take It With You...They also did a great job dealing with Folklore too...And then there was the classic episode where Hollywood followed the RGB around to make a Ghostbusters movie which turns out to be the actual Ghostbusters movie with footage from the real film at the very end...If you've never seen it, its worth checking out...

Picked this set up at TRU today. Great set, though overpriced by $10. Couldn't pass it up though as it is a nice send off for the retro RGB line. Not a fan of the sideways head positioning of either figure however, especially Sam Hain. Also, finding a set without stray paint marks on the heads/faces was a challenge.

I picked up a set. I really like it. I think slimer looks a bit small. And Janine hands can't hold anything. I got one question. Is Samhain supposed to have a partially inside out cloak??

Finally found a set a TRU today. Samhain looks great and his waist is the fixed style but his legs are pretty floppy. Janine is the high point of the set for me. She looks amazing. Love the sculpt. Best Janine figure ever. Also makes me wish they had made more Retro Action female figures. The RA female bodies are very nice.
