What about some of the taller people? Like that dude that was always with Troi's mom? Or James Worthy as a Klingon?

all is good, but more is better, the whole crew and some cool aliens,i dont expect to do what playmates did, with so many produced, but a good 20 or so would be cool.

LOVE TNG...but I just can't get excited about these. They just seem too modern to see in the retro style. I may change my mind when I see some packaged shots (or wave 2), but I think I'll be sitting out on these.

Considering it's almost 25 years old,I don't know if I'd call it "modern" or not.

I forget her name but Worf's son's mother and there was a crew member that came in later which I she was friends with Gordi but I'm not 100% sure on the name. She wore the red crew shirt.

I also want the borg, Romulans, and many other's and the whole crew including Wesley. I love the TNG so glad they are doing these.

Mego went out of business in 1983, TNG was created only 4 years later

I'm hoping for at least 14 figures....if we get that, it'll have been a smashing success....

Mego as a kid ended for me in the 70's. Only one Trek then.

A great character to do would be Lal, Data's daughter from "The Offspring." She's never been done in any format, as far as I know.

I want to see the main bridge crew first, plus throw in a few bad guys.

I'd like to see a TNG Klingon for army fodder myself. Could be Duras, Gowron, or Martok, but a TNG era style Klingon would rock!

No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

Fans over on Star Trek Homepage have not responded positively to these new, TNG retro figures, but to be fair, many of their complaints kind of miss the point of the figures. None the less, it's an interesting, albeit unfortunate, perspective:

I just can't care about TNG, there was already a glut of bad mego-esque TNG figures back in the 90s. The two shown so far just don't look much like Mego to me, sad to say. I'd probably buy some of the more interesting aliens, but I don't see myself buying any of the bridge crew.
