While I would REALLY dig a Dean Martin from Rio Bravo, if there was no horse to saddle up with I think it would loose appeal.

Might want to try and take a crack at getting the license for the new "Django Unchained" flick from Quentin Tarantino.
Ah, but if we're talking westerns, gotta have a Clint Eastwood as The Man with No Name."It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."Comment

As much as I'd like a figure of Paladin from Have Gun Will Travel, I have to admit, it would't sell. You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

I would definately buy any Lone Ranger figures. To say I'm a fan of the Lone Ranger is an under statement. Having all the 3 3/4 figures and most of the 9" line including Carson City, (Would love to have the Carson City of the 3 3/4 line, if I could find it!). The last 2 horses I owned were white albinos both named Silver, and currenly looking to buy another. Yep, that figure line would definately be a winner in my book!Comment

I think western mego's is a great idea that could do really well.
But my dream is to see mego attempt a Boxing line (Tyson, Holmes, Foreman, Manny, etc)!!
I still say the top two sellers in mego format would be SMDM and the 60's Batman.
I doubt we'll see any of the above.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

There are sooo many great ideas of retro MEGO figures that Mattel or anyother company could do, mass produce, and do great in sales, if they were honesestly just listen to the fans, the people of the day, instead of coming out with sooooooo many 3 3/4 hero figures from movies that come out and so overpriced at that,,,thats the problem, like THOR figures for example,, movie was ok, but sooooooo many figures made and stocked that dont sell, instead of some figures and if they sell out, reorder them,, but they are just making toys and not really listening to the common folk. am I wrong?
Do I make any sense?I am MEGO CRAZZZYYY !!!Comment
