Probably not. But Lucas doesn't seem averse to making money, so who knows? You'd think Mego Star Wars would attract a lot of collectors who aren't focused on Mego, per se... to say nothing of those who actually were pining for an 8-inch SW figure back in '77-'78. To say Star Wars has huge crossover appeal is an understatement.
Now... this may be some real far-out-of-left-field speculation: but if Lucas is involved at that level, I wonder to what extent he still remembers that the most popular action figure company of the '70s -- the once-reigning king of the 8" format -- passed on his movie back in the day? I can just hear Lucas doing a Seinfeld soup nazi impression: "No 8-inch figures for you!"
