Its over
Sounds to me Kyle will indeed be the last Retro-Action figure. Boo-hoo, it was a great run and besides I still have NOLD and Star Trek to keep my busy. Also, Dr. Who, I think I will survive the demise of our beloved Retro- Action but it won't be without a tear or two.Leave a comment:

Doc didn't say anything - and there will no pictures of unreleased prototypes
unless Mattel gives us permission.
I don't feel like getting sued just so you guys can weep in disappointment.Leave a comment:

Didn't Doc say he would post pics of these figures? Maybe the fact he didn't abs that post got deleted means Mattel may still release them?Leave a comment:

I would have liked to have seen their take on Supergirl.Leave a comment:

Maybe the retro action female body will be recycled for some line of Mattel girls dolls. Disney princesses or maybe a new line with an oversized head or something.Leave a comment:

ww was two to a case, cheetah was a single
You could order full cases of each character tho. i.e. 8x WW or 8x cheetah if you wanted to keep your sets even.Leave a comment:

interesting point, Del
Mattel is pretty good a recycling things in odd ways. The RA body has plenty of big Jim in its design. Speaking of the BJ era. I am pretty sure Mattel recycled the headsculpts at a slightly smaller scale for the finger puppet action figure thingy they did. I think it was called 'Real Men'.
It would be great to still have some items made with the gal body if only to nab for kitbashing and customs.Leave a comment:

I hope Mattel uses those same female bodies on something else, as long as it's not too pricey, so we can at least use them for customs.Leave a comment:
