Toys 'R Us sucks. It's all over in my area. Dead with a few Luthors and Sinestros. Thanks a lot whoever dropped the ball on that (referring to Toys 'R Us staff).
If they hit other stores (as said above) they would sell.

Thanks again for helping out and letting your voice be heard. Clearly Mattel has some interest in doing stuff with this line and speaking up in the Q&As is a great way to gauge interest for them. I ended up dedicating the whole Q&A to Retro-Action, so we'll see.[/QUOTE]

Thank you for focusing it on the retro action figures. We all hope this line continues to grow and improve.

Thanks for all the questions guys. I got some really good ones here. I didn't get to ask everyone's, obviously, but I tried to combine a couple questions where it made sense so that we can get maximum potential for answers. If something good comes out of this I may use some of the unused questions at a later date, so long as they aren't time sensitive. I'll have the answers later this month, so I'll pass it along then.

cancle the toys r us exclusive idea, and get them to the many other outlets like target and wal-mart,the kids need to see how cool, colorful, and and eye catching these really are, moms would hate to see their kids whining for that batman they saw in the toy section, but we collectors would love it .as a kid thats the way i saw them megos back in 1974.

are there plans for more body styles?

Darkseid does not bode well for larger figures, but is a child/teen body being developed for younger characters?

I agree at there should be some sort of question about the legs on the figures.

QUESTION: Since Mattel has been keen to zero in on the collector market; Any chance we will see a FAN VOTE for an upcomint Matty Exclusive? Maybe we can select from 10 characters or something.

I truly love this line. The quality of the outfits and sculpts are worth the money to me. Although the bodies have been improved to this point, they still can't sit in a seated position or hold their legs out. I do not understand why that hasn't been addressed, will it?
Also the retail availability or unavailability. I would be interested to hear what the story is with that.

I'd love a retro Big Jim's P.A.C.K., as mentioned in a previous post!

Does TRU even have them available online at their site?

    Distribution

My town is a very busy shopping area, with 2 malls, and all kinds of shopping, but our Toys R' Us stopped carrying Retro Action figures after wave 2.
There are only Luthors and Sinestros there.
I had to get my last 2 figures through Amazon.com.

Any thoughts on expanding distribution to Target or Walmart, so that more people can buy them in an actual store?

Since they made it in the JLU and DCU Classics lines, I'd say no.
