Strange thing about Mattel Ghost Busters

I bought Venkman from the Huntington TRU about a month ago for $20. He was the only GB they had left, 2 Venkmans. My LCS has the others at $20-$25, I will be picking them up from there. $38 each? Somethings wrong with that price.

Although if the price drops like the TZ figures I would buy some up just for customizing purposes.

When I looked at the Winston figure, my first thought was buy him for customizing. Then I saw the black chest and realized it was a Mattel body.
I don't know why, but I was expecting it to be an EMCE body. So, I put him back.

Well I was thinking the same thing as you but its easy enough to pick up extra an Night of the Living Dead Ben and do the old swap-a-roo for Winston.

I want the set but the comic book store has them at $38 each so I can't do it.

$38 each ?!?! That is crazy! "Maybe" 20 years from now. I know stores need to profit to pay their bills but that is beyond ridiculous.

Ghostbusters was pretty popular at the TRUs in my area. They have not re-stocked though.

Has anyone tried putting the Ghostbusters head on EMCE Bodys? I'm sure they would look great, wonder how the EMCE body would look in the uniforms.
