Got mine yesterday - lucked out that I happened to be near my front door when the mail man arrived, as it was raining. Everything arrived in perfect condition, figure's immaculate, and no issues I can see. I'll happily snag the rest of the figures as they become available (although I really wish they'd do the modern John Stewart instead of the classic look, but that's just me).

The Bubble Mailer is a new strategy by Mattel supposedly to help keep costs down. Up until this point, they had always used boxes. They're trying to help consumers or so they say.

Sinestro arrived today

I still hate those bulky distorted upper legs, they make the figures look so disporpotioned, kind of like those small squashed like hero figure which are currantly sold by dc direct.

One thing that i can't comprehend is how can Mattel give us a well articulated/great looking body in their 12" Chris Reeve Superman figure and not do the same to their 8" DC Retro Superhero line. Can you imagined that body type on a smaller scale......Wow!!!

Well, at least Mattel is good with returns/exchanges. If they ship mine in an envelope and the outer boxes get damaged, they're going back. I still can't believe they ship like this considering that these are geared more toward the adult collector who more than likely wants mint packaging.

Mine came in an envelope as well. I thought that was a bit of a cheap way to ship.

Same here....got mine yesterday also. The box was fine but it had been opened - the tape on the top flap was half off and not sticky.

Wow, I can't believe they used an envelope. Did you order a single figure? I'm curious, because when I ordered multiple Green Arrows they put them in a box. I got two Sinestros, so hopefully they'll box them also. I'm cringing at the thought of a smashed package arriving on my doorstep.

Received my figure today. Liked the figure variation alot but only bad was they mailed it in a bubble envelope and the outer white box got a little smashed.

I know I'm in the extreme minority here but I kinda dig the Mattel boots. It's a nice departure from the standard castaway or Mego hero boots. Believe me, I'll be buying a gross of Castaway boots at the Meet, but I like these too.

I love the mattel boots. I took captain cold out of the package Yesterday and I really liked his boots. I like the boots on all the figures.
