Sinestro arrived today

I still hate those bulky distorted upper legs, they make the figures look so disporpotioned, kind of like those small squashed like hero figure which are currantly sold by dc direct.

Excellent variant. I really like the costume! Destined to be a collectors item. But I want one because he looks cool.

I prefer the first figure from a design standpoint, but I think the execution is better on this one. A body swap will make this one a keeper for me. Are the boots still too big?

I don't have mine yet but they appear to be. I can't see Mattel paying for another mold without a major change. Not really sure why the bulky boots are such a stumbling block for Mattel. Should have been an easy fix.

I know I'm in the extreme minority here but I kinda dig the Mattel boots. It's a nice departure from the standard castaway or Mego hero boots. Believe me, I'll be buying a gross of Castaway boots at the Meet, but I like these too.
