Toys R Us has dropped the ball, seriously....

I am getting so tired of going to TRU and looking for these figures. I have only found wave 1, and on 2 occasions Black Manta. If these are a TRU retail exclusive, I would call it an epic fail that may kill the line eventually. My brother works next door to a TRU here on Long Island, and is in there daily. He says the only merch that seems to change often is the WWE figures. oh and i stop at 3 TRU stores on the way home from school every other day, and have noticed the same thing.....

They don't seem to last much more then a day or two. You must having bad timing at finding them...

I found Captain Cold at TRU, but all they ever have here is the holy trinity of Luthor/Sinestro/Green Lantern. It never changes and the kid working there told me they weren't getting anymore (they were marked "x" on the computer or something) I gave up and bought online. It has to save gas from driving all around. TRU sucks.

Hey, at least you found a Black Manta at a Toys R Us...The Bay Shore Toys R Us NEVER got any of the Wave 2's. They still have Lex and Sinestro on the same peg for what seems like a year. Never saw the Monsters...and got lucky one time and saw 4 Twilight Zone figures on the peg....and that's it. Bay Shore store is PATHETIC when it comes to getting anything. They still have the McFarlane MiracleMan figure at full price on their shelf...that's how PATHETIC they are in that store. I think the Bohemia store is probably the only place you are gonna find anything....and they are behind the so called "8 Ball" too. Just sad and Pathetic.

I picked up a Captain Cold and saw two flashes (in the wrong section, bought one and left the other) at a TRU further north from me. Haven't seen WW or Cheetah in the wild yet.

Oddly, the one by me has two cases of Ghost Busters out, but all the Winstons have been bought. I say local under-serviced market demographics at work.

I know there is something to be said for picking these up in brick and mortar stores, but I'd just give up on that. Order through Entertainment Earth through the link here and you can help the museum to boot.

That's what I'd suggest. TRU seems WAY behind with this series.

...and what is funny. When you ask the TRU manager about shipping details or when they will get any other waves he looks at me with a blank stare and simply says, "don't know. They don't tell us much."

Toys R' Us is killing these things all over it sounds like not just my area store.

I have seen many toy lines come and go and TRU has screwed them all. New lines get shoved into the least visible spots and even in to the clearance aisle, ( Doctor Who figures, Golden Compass, Battlestar Galactica, Twilight Zone, Retro Action Mattel, Venture Bros., Lightening Thief, Prince of Persia, Clash of the Titans, Lord of the freakin` Rings!!!). They hold back sought after figures only to put them out a year later when no-one wants the toys anymore. (I recall the much sought after Hurcules - Xena figure had this happen). They keep the peg-warmers at full price when other chains have liquidated stuff that doesn't move, (JJ Abrams Trek crap). They put clearance tags which are still full/regular price on items to trick customers into buying them. Sometimes toy lines just disappear and never get reduced.

Gave up on TRU after wave 1.

Local TRU never got in wave 2. They were blocked by the Legion of Doom's Lex Luthor and Sinestro. Christmas cleared a few of them out and wave 3 has hit there but never is present when I go in the store.

Got wave 2 from Amazon for the same price as TRU.

Waves 3 and 4 are through BBTS. Only 28 cents difference per figure over what I would pay at TRU w/tax plus I don't have to waste gas to find nothing. Besides who's to say TRU will hold the $19.99 price. Most of the other stuff I like is seriously overpriced there compared to Target or Walmart.

I don't bother w/TRU anymore for the DC Retros and rarely get anything else there due to their price gouging. Too bad! I'd really like to find them on the pegs, but it's just not worth the hassle.

i was going to say the same thing....although I did note that this past weekend when I checked there were less Sinestros and Lexes so maybe when they are gone they will restock. If they put them on discount clearance I would buy extras.
