Retro EMCE Teen Titans? Wonder Twins?

I love the idea of Teen Titans , and absolutely would buy multiple sets of the Wonder Twins. Hope Paul and Joe can take that to Mattel and say hey lets do the Titans and Wonder Twins. ( I am sure its already been discussed )

I would really dig a set of retro teen titans. It would be awesome, I can not imagine any collector not snatching these up.

The only way I would do Wonder Twins was if I could also create a to-scale battery-operated, motorized woodchipper to stick them in.

Gleek would be the only interesting one to work on.

As for Teen Titans, bring them on! But they won't work on
the 7 inch scale. How could you make Cyborg only come up
to Batman's chest? If you go with Cyborg, Raven, Starfire,
etc. then you have to go with the full grown Robin, Speedy,
etc. or Starfire is guilty of corrupting a minor.

If Robin can drive the Batmobile, he's an adult and should
be done in 8 inch.

I've said it before and will again (sorry) but i'd buy both sizes of Titans. the original 5 sidekicks should come out at the smaller size, then also get released in the full size when you add in the New Teen Titans. Even the 70's Titans should be full sized since those stories had them ready for college and being full grown.

Although I don't know you well enough to read your mind, after your comments on Sinestro's classic suit which he essentially had from the start of the Bronze Age and onwards (i.e. the most definitive costume on one of the most definitive villains), I'd be shocked if you were into two goofy kids in lavender and purple suits. Ha.

If Gleek was made for the retro action line, it could "sort of" solve this scarcity issue for the exclusive Gleek that is so fiercely sought after for the DCUC six-inch line. I don't know if that's something to consider, but I just thought I'd mention it.

This ^^^ is all very understandable philosophy. I guess the big question is: "How possible is it to see certain characters in both 7 inch and 8 inch scale?" If pretty prudent limitations are being put on the line as it proceeds into further waves, my thoughts are that it would be cool to finally see that smaller scale Robin that everyone has discussed over so many years.

I understand how much easier it would be to make 8 inch scale figures were any of the teen titan characters rendered, but, I'm just thinking there's something to be said for sidekicks that are a smaller scale. Maybe just the newer Titans would be made in eight inch scale, while the five originals were a smaller scale? I don't know. Either way the Teen Titans group direction is an intriguing one will and I look forward to seeing what'll happen when decisions are finally made.

I think the best compromise on the Titans is to do the Mego 4 in 8" scale, which leaves the door open for the "new" members from the 80s series. As one of the most beloved sub-categories of WGSH, the Titans should definitely be done.

That's unfortunate considering we've really been heading in a great, classic, Super Friends direction with this line so far...

actually if you think about it the focus has been on the CHALLENGE OF THE SUPERFREINDS era with the Legion of Doom which specificlally excluded the twins. The twins are a polarizing pair people love them for the nostalgia of saturday mornings or depsise them for the foolishness of them.
Add in that they are the property of hanna Barberra not DC it means Doc would have to negotiate another license and further reduce profit on a pair which could be peg warmers

I would say no to wonder twins and yes to teen titans

But please lets do speedy in a comic accurate costume not an homage to the mego one

i do not consider the Wonder Twins to be important DC characters, they provided comic relief and dumbed down the Super Friends cartoon. I mean come on, really. I understand the nostalgia but I would perfer Speedy, Wonder Girl, Robin, and Aqualad. I think full scale is fine, the face molds can capture thier youth. Although if I were to decide I would do them in a 7 inch scale, either way I would support the line.

So no figures can be produced in very limited editions? Nomatter what, the Twins will sell.
