LMAO! After being here on the Museum for a good portion of yesterday, I fell asleep on the couch last night and had a Retro Action dream LOLOL! I was in a store and there was an endcap of about 100 or so figures, Supergirl, Batgirl, and Joker were on yellow cards! I was just about to pay for them and leave the store when I woke up. It was one of those dreams that you wish you could fall back asleep and continue. Perhaps I need professional help because I'm a grown man having dreams about toys! LOL! Shouldn't I be dreaming of fancy cars and tropical vacations instead? LOL!Leave a comment:

I wish people would stop saying the line is dead. We've been hearing that since wave 2. It is getting very childish. I'm loving it and I want it to go for years and years. In my local Toys R' Us in Woodridge they had wave 3 in stock last week and more in stock this week. Reason I know it was restocked was because last week I bought the last Cheetah and today they had her back in. I will say I won't be buying any of the GL wave not because they don't look good but just because I'm not a big GL fan. I'm hoping they are still going to be matty.com exclusives and not wave 5.Leave a comment:

I know on Matty Collector website it says; ..."but for the official scoop, be back here on Monday, February 14th.." No idea if anything will be revealed then or not.Leave a comment:

Thanks Doc! The line is great and I'm so excited to see what's next. Keep us posted. Have fun at Toy Fair.Leave a comment:

Paul , Very well said. ...... and now that should put an end to all that.Move to come folks - however I don't get a say in when
Mattel decides to show the product.
Just because somebody says "the line is dead" does not
mean that I have to respond to it. Everyone is free to
speculate whatever they like, but I am not going to respond
every time.

Completely agree Scott. No whining here. I have been a stubborn supporter of this line since day one. As MIB41 stated just open speculation. Lets see what comes. Like I said time will tell., and this will no way be an all Matty line I just dont see that happening this early in the line.Leave a comment:

Today just fell victim to the sin of omission. It's natural to speculate based on non-information, and it's completely human to steer that speculation down the negative path. Disappointment breeds negativity, it just happens. There still may be something cool announced soon, but a little heads up that nothing would be announced would have been appropriate.
Now, that being said, I am really liking this fourth wave. Like many others I'd prefer to but in a store and not pay ebay scalpers and shipping. It's principle. Part of the charm of this line was supposed to be it's availability at retail. I haven't checked out the new body fix, but the four figures from this wave look great to me and are all characters I like, especially Shazam. I swore I wouldn't order online and pay more than 20 dollars for any of these, but the big red cheese may make me alter that vow.

Hey Scott, it's called deduction. Matty committed to 32 figures, IIRC. They're not differentiating between TRU and Matty, retail and exclusive. We're at 21, with 11 to go, unless GA is considered zero. Are you people serious? NO WHERE has it been said the line was dead. NO WHERE was it said the GL wave was Wave 5 and the line was moving to Matty. I'm actually not surprised anything was shown. We got to see a packaged Guy and the Kyle. So I'm happy.
If you seriously have nothing positive to say about the Retro Action Line please refrane from posting at all. You may have the right to post your feelings but I also have the the right NOT to have to listen to your ****. And if you don't like it please leave trhe museum.
If Mattel is calling Wave 4 "summer 2011" something is up, either with TRU distribution, a staggering of the line, or a NYTF screw-up. I hope it's a promotional err, because if it's a stagger, we might not see Waves 7 and 8 until Dark Knight Rises and Snyder's Superman.
Truthfully outside of wave clarification, I'm not expecting an explanation from EMCE because it's a delicate balance for them.Leave a comment:

And that's the thing. We are in an age where the 8" format is back with a vengence. We have Super Heroes, TV Shows, Movies, real people and who knows what else. Can't we just bask in the glory that is Mego or ReMego or Retro or whatever you want to call it? I am all over the Reto line. They can make D-list characters and I'd buy each one.Leave a comment:
