Ok Marvel should release Retro figs, and sell them in the Disney store as collector's piece. then if they take off mass market them. BUT DO go the gusto, Emce Bodies and Mego styled boots and outfits....

I just think the chance of ever seeing Marvel Retro Heroes is slim-to-none
(unless something unprecedented was to happen within the toy industry and
cross-licensing/production between two competing toy companies came to pass.)

it can easily happen...just, Hasbro will produce their own...they can look at the DC retro's,make their own body and produce a Marvel retro line....and to set them apart...Hasbro can do their sets boxed.

Marvel and DC both have Heroclix. Anything is possible.

Well yes, I'm sure that Hasbro could make their own bodies/own 8-inch line but my point was, specifically, Marvel "Retro Heroes", meaning they would be part of the same set (Mattel) like Mego, just made by Hasbro. That is what I was referring to above as highly unlikely.

In either scenario anyway, I would still say it's unlikely unless the Mattel's Retro Heroes were selling like hotcakes...anything short of that I don't see what Hasbro's motivation would be to follow suit with any 8-inch Marvel line, either separate or tied into the Mattel line.
