What day of Toy Fair is NEW Mattel DC unveiled?

I hope to hear/see much more than just Wave 5, I expect many suprises and new announcements.

Yeah, the announcement of the upcoming waves will be very exciting. I have a feeling they will all be great character selections. I think we'll see Robin and Joker; I'll be surprised if we don't. On purple cards perhaps?! LOL! I'm getting ahead of myself. I haven't been this jazzed for a toy line since the Mego days themselves.

Toy Fair starts on Feb 13... Mattel shows new product starting around the 14th. So by the 16th, we should know as much as we are going to know.

Me, I have a feeling EMCE will announce partnership with Marvel and/or Hasbro to give us 8" Mego-style characters. I can see it happening despite the obvious red tape and naysayer negativity.

That would be a DREAM astronut but I don't know that that could or would happen. Wouldn't that be unprecedented? Where two different toy companies team up to produce on line of figures? It seems terribly unlikely to me but it sure would be great and welcomed news!

I'm not saying the two companies would share materials. Im saying EMCE will work with Marvel to produce a Marvel line very similar to Mattel's DC line. I'm hoping. Fingers crossed, gentlemen.

Got to give you props for conviction.

Would be cool, but with Marvel doing doll-like figures with Tonner and Capt. Action they might be a bit cautious going into this direction as well.

Though I would love me a Bucky, Yellow Jacket, Ant Man and a few more.

My guess is that we are looking at the announcement of wave 5 in a week or so. I also have a feeling we may get a few exclusives to Matty collector in addition to the GL exclusives. I bet The Kyle Raynor will be displayed as well.

Toy fair doesn't sell anything it is not a convention for the public and it is only for big store companies so that they can see what the toy companies are making and such and place orders for those toys.

I want more monsters, more creatures and more aliens....Universal Monsters wave two... Dark Shadows wave 2.... The scarier and wierder the better.... Also, I hope to see a prototype of the new Dr Who and the rest of that series...
