Thanks for posting the review! What a great thing to wake up and read. I have my set on order from BBTS and of all the waves, this may be the one I am most excited about. There is just something about Shazam...probably all those Saturday morning Jackson Bostwick shows and tying a old yellow towel around my neck. I bet my mom can still hear me yelling "Shazam"!

He turned out nice! I think it was a great move to separate the straps and shorts from the body suit. I do think he looks better with the suit though. Looks like they managed to match the plastic and cloth greens well. Flash's reds didn't match to well.

I'll admit, I'm a bit dubious on the other three in this wave. No offense, but Captain Marvel's face looks a bit goofy to me, and Black Adam had giraffe neck in the prototype pics. And then there's stuffed Darkseid. But I'm willing to keep an open mind.

I'm convinced Bob McLeod is doing artwork for Mattel on these (and the MOTU/DCUC figures). That Black Adam is definitely his work. At least his inks. He tends to overpower a lot of pencilers.

Looks the same. They added an internal u shaped clip between the torso and pelvis to fix the wobbles.

I'm trying to make a Green Lantern Silver Age 9" into the Riddler. I'd love a spare body suit !!
Anybody try the stretch using Retro clothing on other bodies?

I just realized that the green suit is separate so people can decide if they would rather have the body suit or not!

I think he looks better with the body suit on, but its great that Mattel is giving us the choice.

I was never a fan of the body suit but Doc and Mattel made the right call...he is a must have

I don't see how it's much different than Tarzan's.... heck, the outer piece
is even removable...and they're friggin' BRIEFS.

This is the first time ANY Mego/Mattel hero has such (briefwise),
and I hope it's the last.
