The card art looks like Bob McLeod's work.

      Kyle

WOW, Kyle Rayner did not show up until the 1990's. He is not exactly a 70"s retro figure. I aso like the idea of a hispanic figure.

I'm guessing the card art is Staton on Guy, Gibbons on John, and Daryl Banks on Kyle.

Sinestro looks like Garcia Lopez to me.

That is no doubt Daryl Banks on Kyle.

But that is definitely not Joe Staton's Guy...

Sinestro is McLeod and Breeding. Not JLGL.....

Exactly how I felt as well!

I too think it's interesting that they're doing Kyle(not complaining), him not being a 70's Mego era Character. But I guess neither is Sinestro's yellow Costume. I just hope they don't try to make his Head Sculpt look "Megoey"(as Mattel put it)...as Kyle is a modern Character.

Here's the way I see it - these GL exclusives represent a sort of "Green Lantern Through the Ages" kind of thing. Think about it.

                    '70s John Stewart
                    '80s Guy Gardner
                    '90s Kyle Rayner
                    Modern Sinestro

Once I saw it that way, it suddenly made sense to me why they would do a '70s John. Anyway, that's my humble observation. I'm definitely looking forward to these guys. That mini GL Corps is going to kick Sinestro's evil magenta butt!

Although, I have to admit, I think I would have preferred John in one of his more modern outfits. Oh well, c'est la vie. I'm still all over these exclusives!

I agree that SCIFIGUYLA nailed it with his GL through the ages theory.

Maybe, down the line, Mattel will make a more modern-looking John in a newer uniform, no mask and a different haircut. Same with Kyle.

That, and DC and Mattel have this year to bask in the glory of this character getting what I am sure they hope to be an ongoing movie franchise.

I think Guy, Sinestro and John may be by Bob McLeod. The back of the MOTU/DCUC Aquaman vs. Mer-Man two-pack looks to have art by McLeod as well. But that's just me guessing.

The card art looks like Bob McLeod's work.
Sorry Rod. I didn't read you post before I posted. Great minds think alike!

Love Kyle (as well as SC Sinestro & Guy), but these guys just don't work for me in a retro line, too modern.

I'd rather see Tomar-Re & Katma Tui & classic Star Sapphire next to Hal, John & classic Sinestro!

I'd love star sapphire too. I really like John but the others I think are OK I might get them not sure yet.
