So is Wave 3 Retro Action heros showing up at TRU yet??

Scored Wave 3 all 4 figures at the Clackamas TRUs Thanks Lonnie

After reading that Lonnie saw all 4 of wave 3 at the Clackamas Toys R us, I had to swing by there before work on Wednesday. I collected the 3 coupons I had totaling $13.00 in savings, and headed to the aisle that I know so well. Until now, the only figures I'd seen there have been Lex and Sinestro. But just as was reported all of wave 3 hung on the pegs. There were only 1 each of the Wonder Woman and Cheetah figures, but there was appx 4 or 5 each of Flash and Capt Cold. I was glad that I got to pick them out individually, it seems like most of the Flash and Capt Cold figures had paint rubs on their noses. I found a sweet Flash and a good Capt Cold and hurried to the counter. I'm stoked with the figures and they really look great. Once I saw wave 2, I decided to start collecting these. I'm still looking for Green Lantern, Superman and Lex, but would prefer to pay $15 or less for each and have yet to find them at that price. Anymore tips from you Portland Mego heads on picking up the figures from Wave 1 that I'm missing is greatly appreciated. Didn't know there was so many Portland peeps on the forums. Thanks to all

I'm really hoping things change for the better in 2011 as far as availability is concerned. The way it is right now is pretty crappy. I want to be able to walk in to not just TRU (where even they can't seem to get it right) but other retailers, with my son, and hear him say, "aw cool! Flash! Can I get one, daddy?"

I agree it would be great to see pegs and pegs of these, all assorted waves, in every store, especially TRU. Fact is it won't happen. Megos were $4 a piece so retailers could load up on them because they moved fast. At $20 a pop, these Retros are never going to see that kind of stocking on the shelves. That would be thousands of dollars worth of merchandise (that doesn't sell quickly enough) tied up in one display. As much as I share the dream, I just don't see it ever happening again with a higher-end action figure line like this. I also doubt any retailer would invest that much money in this one line to get enough figures to do it.

Maybe someone can Photoshop a pic though of tons of Mattel Retros on an endcap with racks and racks of them! I would do it but I stink at Photoshop.

They had Flash and Captain Cold at the Fresno TRU on West Shaw (if anyone's in the Fresno area). No WW or Cheetah, which is who I was looking for so I could get WW for my daughter. Nice to see new ones on the pegs, and will keep checking back for WW.

I saw all four at TRUS today. Picked up Wonder woman and Flash. They look fantastic. There were two cheetah, two Colds, three Flash and three Wonder Woman.

Wave two had one Manta, and one Two face.

If they are in the Denver area, they should be showing up everywhere. Make a quick stop on the way home from work today. Price was the same 19.99.

I bought my Batman at our local TRU, and that was it.
I have never seen any of the others from wave 2.
I found my Two Face at TJMaxx.
Should I assume that was it for our wave 2?

Just the usual Lex and Sinestro.

I did get Batman there a while back, and my family got me Aquaman, for Christmas, there also.

The woman who asked me if I needed any help knew nothing at all about the retro action figures.

Chico, CA has them.. Wonderwoman has apparently sold, but there were
1 Cheetah, 3 Flash, and 3 Captain Cold figures, along with a really nice Black Manta and several Luthors and Sinestros.

Roseville, Mi has 4 flash and 3 Captain cold. I snagged the last Wonder woman. Dearborn, Westland, Madison Heights and Southfield show at least 9 in each store. They are using the same # as series 2.
