Again, it's not sticking up for anyone...it's about the fact that the MAJORITY of the Retro Action sales that will happen are to guysand gals 35 and up that always wanted that Green Lantern, Flash, or Lex Luther figure when they were a kid. Again, follow the logic here, if you were to go out and try to make your own Flash, Lantern, or Lex figure it would cost you a lot more than 20 bucks. The retro figures are giving you all you need to kitbash your own figure for $20.
For the person that's BUYING FOR THEIR KID...yeah, I'd be upset too...but it all goes back to where the majority of the sales that will be generated from these figures...and the MAJORITY of the sales are from guys/gals that are 35 and up. It's just a fact...so for those 35 and up people to complain, when you know they are gonna kitbash anyway is just absurd. And to those that are just gonna keep the figures on the cards and not even take them off of the card...then they should just stay quiet. There is nothing to complain about if you don't take the figure off of the card.
The other option is you can always buy them at TJ Maxx or wait until Toys R Us does their inventory in the middle of January and they have to start getting rid of dead stock...maybe the price will drop.
