Indeed, we said from the beginning that our intention was to bring back MEGO in a way that felt like the company just kept making new hero toys. So, most of the feedback we're hearing offline is from people who have bought them and let their kids play with them. So, thanx for this great feedback.
That said, the evolution of this format toward more realistic, hyper-poseable, accessory-laden collectibles is admittedly a recent revelation to us, and we're currently caucusing here with several of the more vocal boardies to get their input.
But I think that, adult-detail-or-style-preference-pickiness (and the totally legitimate issue with the base body, which we'll also update in another thread) aside, it's hard to deny that we've accomplished our initial mission, which was to bring back that childhood moment when a new Mego superhero toy appeared in toy stores.
