Supporting the line

Buying them from anywhere is supporting the line. Most of us
want to get them in TRU to get that 1978 vibe.

Same situation in Wichita, KS, there in not a Express store and the only Toys R Us store has yet to stock Wave 2. I really want to support the line by buying them at Toys R Us, but I decided in the instance to purchase them from Amazon. Free shipping and the price was 19.98 each. They arrived in perfect condition within 2 days.

Agreed. And when I see multiple waves all pegged together at retail it will be the "holy Grail" moment I have been dreaming about for roughly 25 years... No BS.

Comarison to not retro lines?

Does anyone think it helps to sorta boycott non-retro mego versions? For example, I just purchased the Diamond Select Mummy. While being very cool, really doesn't have the kind of articulation etc. I think gravitates us here. I have felt the same thing about the Star Trek line. Now that it is expanding with Kirk disguised as a Romulan etc., I am not sure how to proceed. So far I passed on it hoping Diamond might make Kirk disguised as a Romulan as an EMCE toy etc.

Well, I can't speak for anyone else...but if it's not 8" Mego style, I don't want it.

P.S. I have made a few exceptions for 12" figures though.
