Wave 3 and 4 Timing? Which is it?

I think the Wave 2 sets were late getting to stores so the release for Wave 3 has most likely been pushed back (quietly).

Believe or not, bigbadtoystore.com is offering Wave 4 and they say Wave 4 is shipping December of 2010. If this is true I will be in EMCE heaven. 17 figures in one year? I kind of doubt it, but it seems weird the comic and toy sites are giving inaccurate shipping dates. Surely they are getting their info from Mattel, or perhaps when the retailer places an order the date is on the order form. I would not be very happy as a retailer if product was not available when the comapny said it would be. It would not make for good customer relations. Just seems odd...

There is no point confirming or denying because things change
depending on Mattel's internal scheduling - which is not open
to public discussion - and external factors like space on container
ships.

We get appoximate dates from Mattel - mainly used to plan out
our work load - but I heard from a Mattel customer today that
wave 3 would arrive in specialty stores in early November.

That doesn't mean Toys R Us will have them on sale then.
I don't expect to see them in TRU until winter.

With all the EMCE presense in the forums I'm surprised no one can confirm or flat-out deny this.

I think wave 4 is Martian Manhunter, Darkseid, Shazam, Black Adam. Thats about all I know.

Love to see J'onn and Darkseid just can't imagine they'd be done before Robin, Joker and a host of bat characters, hell even Hawkman for that matter.. cool though if it's true

It is true. Wave 4 was revealed at San Diego Comicon - there is a YouTube
video of them - look under "megoscott"

No. Our only Toys R Us Store(in Maine) is right next to our largest Mall...so I guess they don't see the point.

I've been thinking of driving down to Portsmouth New Hampshire to see if their TRU has any. Or if they have any Express Stores in their Malls.

Same situation in Wichita, KS, there in not a Express store and the only Toys R Us store has yet to stock Wave 2. I really want to support the line by buying them at Toys R Us, but I decided in the instance to purchase them from Amazon. Free shipping and the price was 19.98 each. They arrived in perfect condition within 2 days.
