Hey Doc! G-A-H second run? What are the odds?

Hey Doc! what is the chance that more Greatest American Hero figures could be made? Having recently purchased season 1 on DVD the kid in me is screaming for a Ralph in all of his white boy fro goodness. I'm sure I could find one here from one of the members wanting to part with one but the price (totally worth it IMO) is just a bit of a bear.

So, is this a possibility? Could the license be granted to EMCE for a full run? Will Jim ever quit asking questions? Tune in once the Doc comes with the answers that only he could or would know!

If I remember correctly, this had a very limited license (one day perhaps?). Demand would have to be pretty high for a return engagement.

I think GAH would be popular enough to justify another limited run. Especially in this day and age of con-exclusives (and William Katt is out on the con-circuit right?). Perhaps a Ralph-Bill two-pack to differentiate it from the initial FX run.

In the meantime Jim, although it's not the same head-sculpt as the FX figure, there is a certain curly haired male head in Doc Mego's shop that can be a place-holder for the time being if you combine him with one of Doc's red body suits, black cape and some strategically placed white string.

I wonder if a Bill Maxwell figure could be done as Robert Culp passed away this year.

Thanks for the tip. My custmizing skills have really went to pot but I may try to take at it if Doc doesn't have any answers.

The original license was for one day only....I think though that the head itself was available for some time on Doc's site....not sure if it still is

I would love to have one of the Ralph/GAH figures as well. I asked Doc about the FX head a while back and he didn't have them, and said he wouldn't. Does anybody out there have one?

Reproheads has a GAH suit on their site as well. All you need is a cape!

The license was only for the three days of the FX show in 2007.
Stephen J. Cannell has been unwilling to to license out either GAH
or the A-Team. He will license the new movies, but not the old
                    shows.

I had a conversation with Bill Katt at SDCC - since he is doing
a GAH comic - and he is discussing it with his friend Stephen.

I will not sell the heads separately, even though I own the tool.
I want to see this done right, but it will take some maneuvering.

If my memory serves, huge props go to ScottA. Back in 2007, he made sure that all of us at the Mego Museum not attending the FX show who wanted one, got a GAH figure. That must have been some kind of Herculean effort on his end!

Yes I did. Thanks for that. It was harder than I thought it would be. Here's a pic before I sent them all out. I have to give props to Doc for helping me out on them.

                            Really

After looking at that picture like that anyone must be a fool to not want to have their character made.

Really if you think about it, what license wouldn't consider a mego style installment a major part of their merchandise
