Toys R Us Update.....Any Wave 2 sightings yet?

Nothing in Wisconsin so far. I'm on the road a lot and I've checked at stores in Madison and Racine recently.

I did see Batman and Aquaman at a store near Algonquin/McHenry, IL. Both had dinged up cards so I let them pass.

Amazon.com has then at $19.99, no sales tax and free shipping if over $25. I think I'm going to get Two-Face that way, since I'll probably by two of that figure. One for the shelf and one to keep MOC.

Just found an Aquaman at the TRU downtown Philly...and, of course, 2 Sinestros plus a Lex...they didn't have any others apparantely.

I just wanted to say that I finally made it over to TRU in Sunset Hills, MO yesterday. As per suggested by local member knight errant00. Thanks bro!


All that was there at the time I visited was a Batman, two Aquaman, one Superman and the usual handfull of Lex and Sinestro's that is being left behind most everywhere.



I was a bit bummed out at first until I looked down and found....



I have all of the others. I went ahead and bought the Batman. I already have him loose so I wanted to be sure to get him carded to. It is really tough passing up that Batman as good as he looks. Even despite the "issues" that Mattel is currently having with these figures I am hopeful that the "kinks" will be worked out in the near future.

I talked to one of the employees there and ask him if there was by chance any more in the back. He checked and of course there was none. He told me to call this AM as the truck was coming in last night. He said there was nothing showing on the manifest BUT some times it is not always on the manifest. There was plenty of room on the pegs for more. So they should be getting some more in soon. I called this AM and I was told that it was still the same figures that was there yesterday and there was none on the truck this AM. Just FYI.

Great find in MO! I appreciate the great response from all on this posting. I live in the Hudson Valley in New York, and still nothing in my 2 stores. Please keep reporting from the field.......I will be . Love the photos from the stores, just gives you that old time feeling when we were kids.

I just got off the phone with a fairly knowledgeable clerk at the store listed below. As least he knew what they were when I called and described them to him.

He told me that all they have is two Sinestro's hanging and they have had them for like a month now. He said that he had no idea as to when any new shipments will arrive at this location. They have not received any in quite some time.

It sounds as if this is a bad location to stake out based on the info given at this time. Then again who knows maybe they might get wave 3 in in the near future??? It doesn't hurt to check.

The best way that I have found is to call the store and ask them if they have any and what they have. This saves time and gas.

That's a very good practice I learned when I was 10. I did this for the Star Wars action figures and have my mom drive me to the store where they were holding them, be it TRU or the local toy shops.
Now waiting for the Wave 3s.

I looked just across the river from you in Fairview Heights, IL today. They still have 4 Sinestro and 3 Luthors on the pegs (it's been that way for about a month). The guy I talked to couldn't even find the second series figures in their computer system.

Three full pegs of wave 1 in Christiana, DE, mostly Lex and Sinestro. I'll bet they don't get wave 2 until they unload those, and I swear none have been sold since I was there last Sunday.

As of today all comic shops and pop culture shops (i.e. Newbury comics etc) have them at elevated prices , yet Concord , Manchester , and Nashua N.H. T.R.U. have yet to receive wave 2

I keep checking my TRU's in Seattle, including the Northgate store (worst TRU on Earth) that was mentioned earlier, but have had no luck. ALL I WANT IS A BATMAN!

Oh well, I'll keep hunting.

neighbor! That sucks to hear about no second series yet. This is so odd that some TRU's have them while others don't even seem like they are going to even get them in. ???

If all else fails PM with what you are looking for and if and when I find them I can send them your way at cost if you wish.

I know they can be ordered from the website, but that kind of sucks all the fun out of it. I like standing in the store and holding them in my hand. Something about finding them that feels nostalgic still. I like a lot of others here still enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
