Toys R Us Update.....Any Wave 2 sightings yet?

Found a case at Toys R Us/ Babys R Us in Littleton Yesterday. Stores Grand Opening isn't till this weekend...but I had to poach a Batman.

I just waited long enough and found them at a toys r us express in St Peters Missouri.

I on the other Hand...have no trouble resisting the RC Batman.

A Toys R Us Express just opened up the road from me in Plainview NY and it has
a case of wave 2 on the pegs.

I keep wanting to buy them all, but then my wife reminds me that I still have
cases in the dining room that I got from Amok Time.

They are a thing of beauty when I seem them on the pegs in the stores. It is definitely tougher to resist them when I see them in the stores. Especially the RC Batman.

When did that one become an Express? Has it always been? I recall going there and it just being a regular TRU. Or maybe I just didn't pay attention. LOL

I found a full WAVE 2 assortment at Toys-R-Us EXPRESS in Beaverton, OR. The guy there explained that the seasonal shipments were getting to them while the WAVE 1 figs were gathering dust at the main retail stores. If you know of a TRU EXPRESS, I'd recommend trying there first.

Still trying to find a Black Manta...anyone have any luck in Philly?

They were all sold out in Media, Pa a few days ago, so hopefully they'll be getting more to fill the empty pegs. I also heard they were at the South Philly one several weeks ago, so you might try there.

Don't bother with Christiana, though. Unless you need some Luthors or Sinestros.

Just a thought.....Someone mentioned earlier that TRU orders off of a trigger point in their point of sale software. WHAT IF?!?!! You went in and bought the peg warmers.......which would trigger the re order point and then take them back and return them for the new wave once they arrive in the store??

Again just a thought I was thinking about the other day. I have not tried this myself. So I really have no idea if it would work or not. Either way I would imagine you could take them back and get your money refunded as long as you keep the receipt and are well within the guide lines of TRU's return policy.

For those that want to purchase them from the store and see them first hand I was just thinking of a way you guys could maybe get some of the newer figures to your stores sooner.
