They could always use the soft spongy wings Doc molds but make them less spongy, and rubbery or hard plastic. Hell the figure is likely to look close to the custom Paul made and sold years back, but obviously slightly altered by DC and Mattel.
This is the route I think they will take....the Doc mego wings are really nice
