I was hoping this wave would look better in person......and I"m not disappointed at all (putting the body problem aside)....they all came out pretty nice...I wasn't sure how batman's cowl would ultimately look.... but it's not bad at all (I bet you could snip off the cowls neck strap... then attached the cape to the cowl...it would still be able to come off the head because of the slit in back and it would look perfect)......from most of the comments I've read so far....a lot of you seem agree with me

Besides the obvious body problems (which NEED to be fixed) these look great. The Bat cowl fits nicer and is less clunky than the Hasbro 9" version. The Bruce sculpt looks nice. Aquaman and Bruce have an early Mego flavor, while Two-Face appears to come from a lost wave of Megos after the Teen Titans. Manta is something Mego didn't really attempt, but he still looks very Megoesque. Nice job to all those involved!

Wow, Definitely better than the protoypes. I was hating on Batman because I felt the removable Cowl didnt look right, looks better than it did. The neck area doe still look a bit odd though, and that slit in the back that makes me feel uneasy. Other than that I am certainly looking forward to these . Aquaman , Two-Face , and Manta are Fantastic looking. I thought Superman was being reissued in this wave too ? I bought a case and it stated the anticpated Breakdown was Batman x3, Aquaman x2, Two-Face x1, Manta x1, Superman x1, I was anticpating a purple carded Supes could be there.

Who said he wasn't?

He was probably there, but still on his original card.

I thought they were going to change how they strung the bodies up?!? Like I said this line is doomed. Only die hards will shell out this type of money for junk bodies. They look cool but are on big POS plastic broke bodies.

Where did you hear (read) that the bodies would be fixed?

The cowl is made of the same material as the boots....pretty sturdy. and yes cape is removable too. Upon closer examination, the same belt traits (glue and taghang are on bat's belt as well. I put the cape on the way I like it OVER the neck piece. I was asked to compare to an original RM bats, and can honestly say I never held a real one in my hands!

That's a really nice picture. I thought with the first pic of Aquaman that I wasn't gonna pic him up...but he looks a lot better than the proto. I like what you did with the cowl by putting it under the cape. I still thing I may just cut away the bottom part under the chin when I get mine. The Bruce sculpt really has grown on me...and stupid me, I just realized that the cowls eyes are solid white to make it look like there are no eyes. Still gonna switch them over to Type 2 Bodies though.

And to all the sarcastic posters on this thread...if you don't like them, don't buy them. The one thing I don't get with all the sarcasm and hating is this...if you were to make your own customs of these figures...it would cost you A LOT!!! more than $20. Just be thankful that the stuff is already made for you and you can kitbash for $20. I don't understand the *****ing and Complaining. THEY ARE NOT MEGOS...and the will NEVER BE MEGOS. We all get that. Live with it and move on. IT'S A TOY!!!!

Since I'll probably be getting these at TRU and opening them, I wonder what would happen if after I checked out opened them right there and see if they stand and if not keep picking out new ones and opening then till I get a product that's not broken.

I bet they would nicely ask you to leave the store and not come back

I always thought that's how the designers of the Mego one intended it to be. It looks less like a bat helmet.

Well after seeing Batman, I like the mask though it need a black stripe on the nose. I like the belt which is simply a copy of the Mego version. I like the Bruce head. I like the elastic on the cape collar.

The boots look like he's wearing FC boots.
The glove cuffs are horrible and cheap looking not to mention the fact he doesn't come with any accessories, thus negating the whole reason for them in the first place..
I would've preferred blue trunks.
WHY is the cape not stitched???????? Looks like they'll get the old cape fray.
The body is sad. The legs look incredibly stupid. Pigeon-toed superheroes! Ugh.

These are NOT $25.00 figures. I will get my boys and I a couple of Batmans but until they fix some issues, I won't buy anymore. The dollar amount just doesn't justify it.
