I'd love a rock line. Beatles, Zeppelin, Elvis, Ozzy, Hendrix with axes and amps.
But as BBP mentioned previously in another thread, the licensing along would be too costly to pay the estates and artists. I know for Beatles line if replica instruments were made they would still have to permission from Rickenbacker, Hofner and Gretsch.
Maybe Scott Ian is a Mego fan and agreed to have a doll of his likeness? Not a very huge Anthrax fan but glad to see musicians are in the loop.
Mattel did a line of musician barbies. I'm sure they can afford it but for the boutique companies I don't think it would be financially feasible considering the demand wouldn't justify the initial exorbitant cost.

I would buy a bunch of Mego Alices.
Plus he could advertise them on his radio show.Leave a comment:

I like that list, just add MJ in there even though he wasn't RockOriginally posted by kryptosmasterMore likely I could see a line of Rock Stars instead of an Alice Cooper only line.
I could envision many figures for that line and I actually think they would sell if marketed right.
Jim Morrison
Mick Jagger
Beatles
Jimmy Hendrix
Pat Benatar
Freddie Mercury
Elvis
Sting

I agree that a complete Alice Cooper line wouldn't go over well, but I would still like to see one. Of course my initial dream Alice Cooper line would consist of:
Alice Cooper (Nightmare era, with bonus no-makeup head and white tuxedo included)
Cold Ethyl (zombie chic with refrigerator accessory...let's not go into too many details here)
Steven (psycho child-man with straight-jacket accessory)
The Arachnid Tour Guide (Vincent Price)
Dancing Skeletons (2 variations, male and female "Megos" in skeleton jumpsuits, top hats, spats, canes etc)
The Cyclops
Super Special Exclusive Stage Accessory Pack featuring nightmare bed, crutch, boa constrictor, 5 spiders, rapier, Billion Dollar Baby doll, toybox, and Black Widow character with removable costume revealing Sheryl Goddard figure inside!

Yeah. I've thought about it. I can dream.

I would love to see Bon Scott, Angus and the rest of the early AC DC members ... and also a Brian Johnson with 80's variations of the rest.Leave a comment:

You think there's enough Re-Mego's already and they should stop being made ?Originally posted by ironmanfanNo offense, but I think maybe if they(EMCE,Mattel,Hasbro, ect)made everyone and everything an 8 inch Mego style figure,we would get to the point where most of us would be saying..............ok...........enough........... ...stop now.................jesus now......oh no not a Larry King Live figure?.............thats just coo-coo nuts. It needs to stop sometime soon,ya know.Leave a comment:

A Alice Cooper figure would be really cool. I'm just not sure how well a whole line of Alice Cooper figures would sell. His various looks just aren't as iconic, different enough or toyetic as the different eras of Kiss were.Leave a comment:

You're not crazy. I'm a huge Alice fan. Just today I was listening to Alice, wishing I had a "Mego" of him. And various outfits from various Alice eras.
If this ever happened, I'd soil myself. That's been happening alot lately now that I think of it.
