Cool idea, Seems like a no-brainer that would really work. Plus it would give fans the Batman and Supes figures they always wish companies would make.

    Great idea as an option!

I quite like my 12" set.

I would definitely love an 8" one too.

Kingdom Warrior what head did you use for your Kirk may I ask?

Personally, I respect both but like most of the non comic reading world I consider the media versions THE versions.

There's a lot more people out there that seen Superman The Movie than there is that read a Superman comic.

Different movie versions from different eras, that's history to me

    The History of Superman
    1. Kirk Alynn: 1948 and 1950
    2. George Reeves: fifties
    3. Superfriends Superman: seventies and eighties
    4. Christopher Reeve: seventies and eighties

    Series 2
    The History of Batman
    1. Serial Batman: early and late forties
    2. Adam West: mid to late sixties
    3. Superfriends Batman: seventies and eighties
    4. Michael Keaton: 1989 and 1992

I'd like to see that idea updated to fit in with the new 8" WGSH line.

Because of retro-ness, I stopped at 1990 or before.

    Series 1
    The History of Superman
    1. Kirk Alynn
    2. George Reeves
    3. Superfriends Superman (figure we have now)
    4. Christopher Reeve

    Series 2
    The History of Batman
    1. Serial Batman
    2. Adam West (yea right)
    3. Superfriends Batman (figure being produced)
    4. Michael Keaton.

    Just a thought
    Thanks for reading

It seems like it should be pretty easy to at least do Superman ....
    Lemme splain ....

    Kirk Alynn.
His likeness has GOT to be cheap.

    George Reeves
So far we've NEVER seen an official George Reeves Superman action figure.
Is it because it's too expensive ? ... or nobody wants to bother ?

    Christopher Reeve
Those lousy looking 12" ones that just came out ... His likeness couldn't be too expensive to obtain.

Maybe 1 of them Supermen can come with a different color of Undies, rather than Pink.

It's a cool idea, however I would have to say it's impossibe due to the rights and likenesses. Well, not impossible, but very difficult.

I think you could do a set in the styles of different artists much easier, but it would be tough for me to narrow it down to 4. I would want Bob Kane, Jerry Robinson, Carmine Infantino, Neal Adams, Marshall Rogers, David Mazzucelli....well I guess I can stop in the 80's. I know I spelled a few wrong, sorry.

Now that I look at it, maybe the frost four would be fine.
