How about a "HISTORY OF ..." WGSH's series ?

Remember the crappy 12" History of Superman figure set that came out some years ago.

They may be a crappy in the boot department but man the embroidered emblems on the suits and cape and the head sculpts make up for that IMO. but then again I am Superman Super-Dork

If licensing of likenesses was too much, I'd be up for sets similar to the Hasbro/Kenner "History of". Bob Kane Batman, Dick Sprang, Neal Adams, etc.

I would so be on board with that. I've got a custom George and Christopher, and use the Kidz Biz Batman as the Keaton. I would be worried about the price tag though. It would be such a niche item that i bet it would be expensive. As far as Kirk Alynn Superman, I really see the new retro superman offering up a good likeness to him even more so than the Super friends incarnation.

Because of retro-ness, I stopped at 1990 or before.

Cool idea. I've done Adam West and Michael Keaton, Superfriends is on the way courtesy of Mattel, just need a serial Batman and my set is complete
