I dunno. While some of the movies themselves were utter crap, I think that it would be cool to see some figures.
The only thing is, is there really a market for them outside of us Baby Boomers? Let's face it, we grew up with the show, saw the movies in their first run, and are serious collectors of the comics, novels and action figures.
But what about those people who aren't rabid fans? They'd leave the figures on the pegs, and there are more of them than there are of us.
So, that means that any company that makes them would take a big, fat loss.
Not really worth it, in my opinion.
However, with that being said, what's to keep us from doing our OWN customs? Nothing.
I'm sure that given all of the great talent here, we can come up with Khan, Saavik, WoK Kirk, etc.
Why should we depend upon someone else to do that for us? Especially when they'd probably do it on the cheap.
We, as customizers, even if we are on a budget, can afford to be more finicky when it comes to detail, materials, sculpts, etc.
