Do you want to see Star Trek Movie Megos?

As cool as the original Trek figures are, I was probably a bit too young to appreciate TOS, and Kirk, Spock, McCoy et al in my mind are more associated with the movies, starting with Wrath of Khan.

How badly do you want to see the movie versions Mego-ized? Would you be satisfied with simple costume variants to the original head sculpts or would you rather see more authentic re-sculpts to reflect their looks in the movie? Particularly Scotty... would you put him on a Fat Body?

Would you mind if they skipped the first movie and just go with the uniform they had for most of the movies, or would you prefer they did Star Trek TMP first (because Mego did those originally) before moving onto Wrath of Khan etc.

Which Aliens would you want to see? Villains? Crew?

I'd buy them. Not "The Motion Picture" stuff. I could care less about that movie. Wrath of Khan however, I'd be all over that.

From the movies I'd only buy them if they were from Star Trek The Motion picture.

Movie

The movie characters are not as colorful as the TV series. Mego works best with colorful characters and I would not be so inclined to pick up the movie character, they just don't have the same charm.

I'll take them in all forms; movies (especially a 'Wrath of Khan' Khan), and TNG and DS9 as well. Would love 8" movie Klingons, though not at the expense of TV show Kang and Koloth EMCEs. I'd probably start questioning my commitment if they moved on to Voyager and Enterprise, though. But I'd definitely get Aliens from any of the TV shows. And yes, 7 of 9 and T'Pol as well.

I'd probably buy EMCE's of the latest Trek movie before I'd buy Enterprise or Voyager complete sets. But I know that wouldn't happen since the toys were peg warmers and the Mego nostalgia market wouldn't go for Retro styled TOS characters with new actors' faces. But I would.

I'll take some from all the movies. It would be great to get Ilia and Decker as well. The Next Generation and all the other shows should get a shot in this format too! You can't have to much of a good thing! I just hope that if TNG would be done we could get First Season uniforms too. I gotta have a cheerleader Troi, Tasha Yar and a 1st Season Worf! I would also love it if they would do a revised line of all the figures that have been done to date with a little more modern articulation,More accurate uniforms and accessories!
