Give Mattel the benefit of the doubt. When they see healthy sales numbers
from this line, it will get more attention. It is great to be able to e-mail them
a thread from here full of well thought out, well expressed comments that
show that there is an audience that appreciates attention to detail.
The new Mattel figures have definitely caught peoples attention.....I'm lucky I got a supes for my son (the girl I know at TRU put both of them aside from the case until I got to the store that morning)...now every case that comes in the store, the packers keep supes for themselves (I have that on good authority)...all the figures sell well (sinestro hangs around the longest)...batman is going to be just like supes.....I totally agree with Paul...when Mattel sees this line has legs,it will get way more attention from them....I have said this before and will say it again...be patient...the kids like these figures....people seem to be OK with their price (if Mattel lowers it a little it would certainly boost sales)...we adult fans will be rewarded in the end

          Thanks Paul, I appreciate that.

Thanks to you there are thousands of restored, complete superheroes out there, and they would happily defend you against threats -- both foreign and domestic!

I just received from the US my parcel containing Green Lantern, Sinistro, Superman, Green Arrow & Lex Luthor.
I think they are really great.
On the issue of the Batman pictures, I think the removable cowl is too much of a gimmick. Better a proper masked head that can't be removed and maybe a limited edition Bruce Wayne? After all neither the Green Arrow or Green Lantern have removable masks. Okay Green Arrow has a removable "Errol Flynn Robin Hood" cap but this works the removable Bat cowl doesn't.

Given the history of Variant Batman figures for every single line that has ever featured the character in the past twenty years, I have no doubt that the odds of seeing a "Dark Knight Detective" style Batman show up eventually are quite high.
