The whole idea of an Animated GhostBuster figure is imaginative, fun and off-the-cuff. It sums up what Mego (albeit retro) is all about. I can't wait to purchase a set.

WIll there be any way to get extras of their movie outfits? I rather have them in those than their cartoon ones.

Blue proton packs and sold at TRU in the fall. Sounds good to me. I hope this paves the way for the 6" line at retail as well. Maybe that is why we haven't seen much in terms of new figures for the on-line site.

"We do have plans for a full line of cartoon color'd Retro Action GB in the fall at Toys R Us with all of the Ghostbusters represented. For our SDCC item we wanted to do something different so we went with a movie colored outfit and proton pack. You'll get blue packs with the retail line all on display at SDCC!"

All of the SDCC items will be available at MattyCollector.com on Aug 2nd EXCEPT for the following:

-Starro Spores (only available at SDCC with purchase of Starro 75th anniversary pack)
-Plastic Man Suitcase (only available at SDCC with purchase of Plastic Man)
-Variant version of Retro Action Peter Venkman (Clear green ectoplasm version)
-Color change Orko (version sold online will not have color change figure or the SDCC sticker on the book)

I have the recorder set up to tape it.

I don't have a DVR - I still record a show on DVD-R - it's so 5 years ago!

I still use VCR's to record shows. I have a DVD-R but my VHS is more user friendly.

I did record the Thursday show on DVD, but now with that newfangled YouTube,
it seems kind of pointless!

Oh well, I'll keep it for the EMCE archives. The book I keep threatening to
write one day about all this may end up being DVD anyway. Print is dead,
or so they say.

The SDCC figure is $20. The exclusives are normally more expensive than normal releases, so unless TRU thinks they can squeeze more money out of us, $20 seems like a realistic price point for retail as well.
