To figure out what Mattel's "boy toys" division will do next, follow a simple formula: imagine what you would do if you were in charge of the division, then imagine the exact opposite. The latter is what will probably happen.

For those fans of Little Britian: "Computer says no....."

I think the best and ONLY chance we have of getting more Retro-Action figures is if they use soft goods (clothes) or already tooled parts.

    Joker would be easy
    Robin (just shoes)
Personally I would like a Deadman.
    Dr Fate
    Riddler
    Firestorm

To be honest now that I see that Mattel picture that someone posted...I am inclined to buy one and take the wings off it.

A Hawkman would MOST certainly be COOL....but I can't see them do it.

Bottom line....I think the easier it is to make the figure....the better chance we have of getting it made. So we could very well get another 10 Green Lanterns...

Doubt it seriously. Would be cool, but doubt it.

My gut feeling is no. Unless it's already made, I would see them wanting to do the "big characters" still in the Q, like Robin and Joker before Hawkman if anything furthur is released. Just my opinion.

I would love to see remaining Challenge of the Superfriends characters.

A Hawkman would certainly help make a great JLA set, but unless Mattel can be convinced to keep the line alive said figure is not going to happen, in my opinion. I am getting eager for Comic Con. I have put my feelings of disappointment aside until I see what happens, time will tell. Just under a month...

I could care less if they made a Hawkman. "Back in the day" before the c&D when Dr. Mego was making/selling customs. I got a cool looking head, wings and suit and it has been the best looking custom out of all of them. If they could reproduce that in Mattel format that would rock.

Just saying IF it was to happen.....For the sake of getting in a nice set of wings why not make him as an exclusive and offer him in a box instead of a blister? Removeable cowl would be very doable and a very nice added touch as well since they already did a RC Batman.

I would really do hope they make a Hawkman. I would think it would have to be an exclusive ala Green Arrow. Hopefully if/when they do make it they have all the glitches ironed out as I wouldn't think swapping bodies would work as well on a figure with huge winge...

I like the Doc Mego wings.....I already have a great custom Hawkman because of him.....

I'd like to see one made just put him on a reEnforced Larger blister card.....

Like a surfboard in shape) then the part could be packed behind the figure in the clamshell and simply attach to a peg or such on the harness back.
This is what I'm envisioning, too. It worked for GA's backpack-quiver...

Material and wire wings or thin molded plastic wings are the best ways to go....I think it wouldn't be hard for Mattel to do at all.
