It's more than that. The actual symbols are a different color and the black outline (or stroke) of the lantern symbol are different widths.

Finally got my hands on 2 GLs tonight, both at the same place from the same shipment. One each of the emblem types; different colors and line sizes, one has no outline.

i got 6 GL all are just as good as different... poor printing

Poor printing cannot account for the size of the lantern symbol's outline stroke.

You have to question the material or style used for these emblems. The first Green Lantern i bought my son last week was removed only once, and posed very briefly..... However, it's apparent that the emblem has already begun deteriorating..... Same with my son's Superman. I have an Original Fantastic four costume (over 30 years old) and the emblem is still intact.

hmmm...mine is the weaker style.
Mine has no black outer ring and the symbol looks very thin...sorta low-resolution.

Yup, just a couple weeks apart. I do think they were separate shipments.

Man that one one the right looks all stretched out and cracked? I have vintage figures with better emblems.

Mine has a very slight black ring around the edge.

Mine looks like the one with the visible black edge. No extra white edge, though.

And the whole emblem, like yours, looks crisp and bold and opaque. The other one looks thinner, which is probably why it's showing wear already. I notice that you can see the texture of the material through it.

The suit material seems different, too, doesn't it? The suit with the black-edged emblem also has a richer green color than the other suit which has white showing through the green.

Did you buy both figures at the same place?

I've seen talk of different length neck collars? Or was the neck collar thing more the result of body swaps?

Nope...I bought them in the Package like that. One a Turtle Neck...the other laid flat.
