I may have made my dye mixture too strong--but it's just as likely the BifBangPow heads are a thinner vinyl than Matty. 15 seconds on this Man In Black head was way too much. I did Locke in a 5 second and then a 2 second dunk.

I wonder if this procedure can fix my Emce Scotty's look from bad "Orangy" sun tan to normal color.

No, I don't see how that could work. Dying will add color...you need a way to bleach it. I wonder if you soaked it it RIT color remover?

What if you left the red/orangy Scotty head in the bright sunlight for short periods of time. Would that bleach it before the plastic started breaking down too badly?

Does anyone know if this technique will work on the painted on flesh tone on the Pike head?

I think someone is going to have to try removing all that paint to see what's underneath.
