My guess is the paint on Pike acts also as a sealer. It may not bleach or evaporate exposed to strong sunlight. Example: the paint on the walls in your house don't fade where the sun shines in on them.

Does anyone know if this technique will work on the painted on flesh tone on the Pike head?

What if you left the red/orangy Scotty head in the bright sunlight for short periods of time. Would that bleach it before the plastic started breaking down too badly?

No, I don't see how that could work. Dying will add color...you need a way to bleach it. I wonder if you soaked it it RIT color remover?

I wonder if this procedure can fix my Emce Scotty's look from bad "Orangy" sun tan to normal color.
