I was just wondering what people were doing with their Retro Action Heroes if they only bought 1 set? I only have GL and LL and they are still on their cards at this point, but I plan on opening them.

Open your Retro Action Heroes or leave them sealed?

I used an xeacto knife to cut three of the four sides on the top of the blister pack so I can slip them in and out. With collecting as prevalent as it is today, I don't think mint on the card retro figures are going to really sky-rocket in price.Comment

In the best case scenario you would have an extra set sealed....but if you only have one...open it and have fun"Thats the ticket laddie"Comment

I only got 1 set, and tore green lantern out the moment I got in the car! It honestly was the best feeling, Going into Toys R Us, buying a mego and opening him in the car! I was a 5 year old again for at least 5 min,(liken it to the old frosted mini wheats commercials) until I had to put on my adult persona and drive the car...then when I got home, and showed the family, they were in HORROR as I opened them all up 1 by 1. Will I get another to leave sealed? likely. But playtime first, collection later. I want them to be abundant before I buy another set.Comment

I cut the side of the bubble on three of the four edges to have access to the figure. I don't play with them and don't have kids, but I do sometimes display or like to check out loose figures in my collection. Then I put 'em back in the package for storage or display. It's the best of both worlds!Last edited by spamn; Mar 9, '10, 1:18 PM.Comment
