Castaway hands are a crapshoot on quality. Switching over to the Mattel forearms is really easy and the hand color will match. I like the Mattel hands. The look good in person.

This is a castaway body with Mattel forearms and CTVT boots

 Like M.A.S.K.?

A little off the subject, but is it just me or, if you took that new Mattel Superman head, dremelled the spit-curl off it, and put the figure in a brown loincloth, you 'd have a pretty cool Mike Henry "Tarzan" custom?

 Just sayin' . . .Comment

The material is very absorbant and it takes the marker very easily. A red Sharpie will work just as well as an expensive fabric marker. I colored mine on the body (Cast-a-Way Toys body). If you take it slow and work right up to edge you'll be fine. Start in the back ad watch to see if the marker bleeds (moves further than the line you just painted), mine did not at all. This will help you keep marker only where you want it. Go slow and you should be fine.

DO you mean that he cant look up or down?

That would be perfect. Swivel biceps. flexible fingers and a head that tilts so he can fly properlly!Comment
