I still don't like the head either, but with the new body it seems to make the head not look so bad.

Now just switch his hands with CTVC's hands so they match his face's skin tone. Or better yet, find some fists so he can punch stuff!

Castaway hands are a crapshoot on quality. Switching over to the Mattel forearms is really easy and the hand color will match. I like the Mattel hands. The look good in person.

This is a castaway body with Mattel forearms and CTVT boots

              I my hybrids....

A new body, a little fabric marker on the shorts and some new, less clunky boots, and viola!

these are nice - leave it to the people here to customize the instant something hits the shelves.

it would be nice to see side by side shots of before and after.

A little off the subject, but is it just me or, if you took that new Mattel Superman head, dremelled the spit-curl off it, and put the figure in a brown loincloth, you 'd have a pretty cool Mike Henry "Tarzan" custom?

                    Just sayin' . . .

The material is very absorbant and it takes the marker very easily. A red Sharpie will work just as well as an expensive fabric marker. I colored mine on the body (Cast-a-Way Toys body). If you take it slow and work right up to edge you'll be fine. Start in the back ad watch to see if the marker bleeds (moves further than the line you just painted), mine did not at all. This will help you keep marker only where you want it. Go slow and you should be fine.

DO you mean that he cant look up or down?

That would be perfect. Swivel biceps. flexible fingers and a head that tilts so he can fly properlly!

David Lee are those boots your own design or did you buy them? They really accent the figure nicely. You sold me on the Castaway body.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
