That was my point behind posting that Doc........I think it was just a coincidence although a possibility thoughs images are together. They are constantly updating style guides based on new properties, possible toy productions, movies.......merchants looking to produce something , and once approved recieve a style guide that they use to repo likeness....as I stated those items used were done a couple years ago......and your 100% right what you stated about Garcia Lopez, excellent artist with a classic style....used much like Dick Giordano was in the 70-80's period.Nonetheless,
if those are used we all have you to thank for making it happen,Doc.....Thanks

All the artwork in the style guide was Garcia Lopez or Jerry Ordway.
Mattel did the packaging and selected artwork from the style guide.
That's cool to hear Paul. But at the risk of sounding like a negative nelly...I only wish Mattel had also used Garcia Lopez as the inspiration for their Head Sculpts...instead of just the Package Art.

Judging by the way things are I hope there is a "Bonus wave" of just super gals. (Did you see the supergirl?)

Doc Mego has been teasing you all with coded messages based on a certain mathematic principle, it's too complicated to explain so I'll just show you his clues.

You see? We're obviously getting Congorilla in wave 3.

                      great link

                      Certainly looks like it's viable.

love to see these versions of Ctwoman and Batgirl done. The head sculpts will really make the figure.

maybe they're following Megos original plan?

Release heroes followed by four villians then four female characters....

I would like to see Robin escorted by scarecrow and thus if they are following Mego plans we'd get four villians plus Catwoman giving us 6 bat baddies rather than 4.

I would hope they scratch Myxie for Brainiac or someone more suitable. I think if the line continues they really need to give him a formidable foe. Luthor is a better choice to start on.

not sure if this is the right thread but I'm on a roll here...

I would like to see more villians for sure.

If they are to add some new and previously unreleased figures I would like to see:

Nightwing, Dead Shot, Death Sroke, Jon Stewart, Bule Beetle, Black Canary, Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy.

I wasn't big on the characters of the Legion of Doom, per say. I can do without Toyman, Giganta, Grodd, aesthetically anyway

As far as I'm concerned, the more Batman related figures, the better.
