The Mississauga TRU that I know of is on the Etobicoke/Mississauga border right next to Sherway Gardens (which is on the way to my in-laws) off the QE.Comment

Thanks Samurainoir. I have to pick the girlfriend up at the Go Station in Oakville sometime next week so I can stop in there while I'm waiting for her.Comment

No worries. I've done the exact same thing while waiting for the Go Train to come in! There is also a comic shop across the street next to the Macdonalds that you can kill time in. I'll often pick up some comics and go over to Lick's read them while munching on a homeburger and Milk Shake.Comment

In Vancouver at Comic Stores
In case you've given up on TRU, check out your local Canadian comic stores. I did, and serendipity struck!!
At lunch I went into one of our local comic shops here in Vancouver to grab copies of Alter Ego and Back Issue and -VOILA!- there they were: Superman, GL, Sinestro, and Luthor! I picked up Superman and GL, and with taxes they came to $26.75 each (about the same in USD, as our dollars are almost par). Which is a great price by me especially as I got to support my local store and reminisce about Megos with the staff!! Long gone are the days when I would have spent an hour or more of my time and equal amounts of mental energy searching out a way to save a few bucks on these. With the time saved, heck, I got to write this message!!
They are here, it's now, and all that's left to do is decide whether to open them or not... hmmmm...Comment

will be great to see these in uk... but then your going to have to have palitoy style variants... LOL
as no one knows or cares who half of the characters are
stick to the blockbuster style comc hero and they would sell nation wide here
as for now they are available in uk through meComment

A comic shop here in Winnipeg was having a 40% off action figures sale over the weekend so I popped in for a look yesterday. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular and didn't see anything of interest until I saw the Retro Heroes. They had two sets on the peg. I didn't even know they were out. They were priced at $32.95 so it worked out to just under $20 each with the discount. I had no idea what a reasonable price for them was so I didn't buy any right away. I went home to do a little research and found that they sell for $20 at TRU in the US so I went back and bought a set before the price went back up today.
I was a teenager when Mego's were available in the 70's so I never collected or even knew about them then but I did buy Benjamin's beautiful book when it came out because it looked so cool and now I have a reasonable facsimile of some of the figures. Looking forward to all of the upcoming series.Comment

I thought somebody here said they saw them at a Canadian TRU, but every time I get my local store manager to check, they come up with nothing. Even using the sku numbers and info from folks here at the Museum. Never say never...but its not looking good so far."Crayons taste like purple!"Comment
