sounds like time to check out how mattels returns or complaints process works. I doubt they will acknowledge the pills and emblem issues, but the Lex and Sinestro problems might be addressed. Worth a shot

I guess I'm picky. But I am a collector. I can't afford to buy extras(really couldn't afford these) so I'm stuck with these. I really would have preferred a mint set to keep in my collection. I'll contact Mattel today and see what they say...

You may have better luck with your original seller.

              just a thought,

If'n you are wanting to pick up the rest of these as the year goes on, perhaps you might want to look at one of the big online distributors like Big Boys or Entertainment Earth. I know with EE they have a mint in package guaranteed sort of thing going on. You will probably pay a little more for them, but you will have the peace of mind that someone sorted through the less than desirables for you.

That's the one thing about buying online, you can't see the quality. And I know Mattel has had paint app problem with their Masters of the Universe line. I don't think they've been too helpful. Maybe when TRU has these to go see if they have better quality; buy the better quality and return the lesser.

Mattel said "too bad". I got the run around. Mattel customer service gave me another number to call and when I talked to the new people they told me to call Mattel customer service. I called them back and they told me to call the other number again... and the circle continued. They said after a long game of run-around that since I bought them off ebay they couldn't help me at all. Okay, so they package an inferior product and won't cover the unopened product because of where I bought it. I will not buy anymore of these f***ing piece of crap figures. Mattel can just go bankrupt as far as I care. Jerks!!

why did you think they would cover something you bought off of ebay?
                      Fresh, not from concentrate.

I'm a customizer! I can make any character I want. I hate to offend anybody, but I'm a Marvel guy. I love Marvel!! DC isn't my bag. So these figures are not that important to me. I hate the gauntlets that should be tight spandex for gloves. The boots suck. The costumes are too tight for the giant boots and gloves. I don't think this line will do very well. Their quality control is crap and so are the figures. They look bad in the package. Really bad. The boots are too long to fit in the bubble right and so they all sit at an angle. So the figures will not stand right in the package.

You tell me why I should think an unopened product that is defective shouldn't be covered by the company that made and packaged and sold it? They ****ed it up and are responsible. I bought it from somebody they sold it to. That's why!

I'm not opening them. I wanted a carded set. I really don't play with my toys. I customize. Not really interested in just opening them to fix them. I just wanted better quality than I got. After all, I bought the first legitimate in stock set from the first retailer to be selling them. (as far as we know)
